Methodology

Show the evidence, the uncertainty and the status of the outcome.

RubblePass is designed to stop an early estimate, a routing scenario and a completed handoff from being presented as if they were the same thing.

The methodology supports transparent decisions. It does not replace a hazardous-material survey, structural assessment, laboratory, permit, contract or official waste record.

Evidence levels

A stronger level requires a stronger record.

The level belongs to a specific claim or material batch. It is not a blanket certification of the building, material or organization.

    A field observation, model input or unreviewed source starts the record. It is useful for scoping, not a final claim.

Use ranges before false precision.

The prototype uses three planning values to keep uncertainty visible. P10 is a lower planning estimate, P50 is the central estimate and P90 is an upper planning estimate. The exact interpretation depends on the stated model and inputs; these labels must never be used without that context.

Climate and value scenarios

Make every consequential assumption inspectable.

Climate scenario

A scenario may compare route-specific emission factors across a defined boundary. The record should identify the quantity status, baseline route, proposed route, source and version of each factor, transport assumption, exclusions and whether the route occurred.

Commercial scenario

A value scenario may compare avoided disposal, processing, transport and potential material value. It remains illustrative until the relevant quotations, contracts, measured quantities, invoices and payments exist.
