Product and scope
What is RubblePass?
RubblePass is a pre-demolition material intelligence and coordination platform. It is being designed to connect building inventory, source evidence, uncertainty, route planning, marketplace coordination, material passports and custody records before materials become mixed waste.
What stage is the product at?
The current product is a TRL 3 prototype under validation. The public demo uses a fictional project and synthetic data. RubblePass does not currently publish verified customer outcomes or completed-pilot impact figures.
Does RubblePass replace an assessor or engineer?
No. RubblePass structures information and supports review. Qualified professionals remain responsible for structural, hazardous-material, safety, regulatory, technical-suitability and acceptance decisions.
Where is RubblePass initially focused?
The initial validation focus is Istanbul, Türkiye. The underlying workflow may be relevant elsewhere, but local rules, market practices, classifications and contracts must be assessed before use in another jurisdiction.
Topic
Evidence and estimates
What do L0, L1, L2 and L3 mean?
L0 is preliminary information, L1 is document-checked evidence, L2 adds relevant professional or laboratory evidence, and L3 adds custody verification. An evidence level describes the support recorded for a claim; it is not a general material certification.
Why are quantities shown as ranges?
Before dismantling and measurement, many quantities depend on incomplete documents, access and assumptions. P10, P50 and P90 views keep that uncertainty visible instead of implying false precision.
Can the platform identify hazardous materials?
No. Users can record suspected hazards and attach specialist evidence, but RubblePass does not perform hazardous-material surveys or clear a material for reuse. Unknown or suspected hazards should block automatic reuse recommendations.
Are the climate and circularity figures verified?
Figures in the public demo and application materials are synthetic scenario outputs. They illustrate the method and are not measured project outcomes. A live claim would need the stated inputs, factors, boundaries and outcome evidence.

Exchange, passports and access
Is the Material Exchange a guarantee that a batch will be sold or accepted?
No. A listing supports discovery and permissioned diligence. Matches, messages and reservations do not guarantee price, availability, quality, suitability, transport or final acceptance.
What is a RubblePass material passport?
It is a versioned record for a material batch that can connect identity, source, quantity range, evidence, status, disclosed conditions and custody events. A passport does not by itself certify the material.
Are exact project locations public?
Not by default. Public views should minimize site and commercial detail. More sensitive information is intended to be shared only with authorized participants for a defined purpose.
Does RubblePass use AI?
Optional prototype features may assist with organizing information or flagging inconsistencies. AI suggestions are not evidence and require human review. AI cannot approve hazards, structural performance, regulatory compliance or market commitments.
Topic
Pilots and commercial use
Who can request a pilot conversation?
Asset owners, developers, demolition contractors, assessors, reuse or recycling facilities, material buyers and public-sector programme teams with a defined pre-demolition decision may be a fit.
What does a pilot include?
A proposed pilot begins with a written validation brief covering scope, roles, data, evidence gates, risks and success measures. Availability, duration, responsibilities and any commercial terms are agreed case by case.
How much does RubblePass cost?
Public pricing has not been finalized for the prototype stage. Any pilot or future subscription proposal will state its scope and terms directly; figures in financial models are planning assumptions, not offers.
How do I contact the team?
